NORTHERN CA MOBILE RV AND AUTOMOTIVE INSPECTION, RV REPAIR & MAINTENANCE SERVICE
If you are purchasing a new RV, chances are the dealership is adding a "Pre Delivery Inspection " (PDI) to your final out the door price. This inspection is usually charged at up to $1500 and is around a 100 point quick look through of basic operations and most times is done by the least experienced RV tech at the dealership or sometimes not even done by a technician. You will usually not get a copy of this inspection. You are not required by law or anything other than dealer policy to pay the dealer for this inspection.
You can decline their inspection (and its charge) and have your own inspection done by an unbiased third party NRVIA Certified RV Inspector. NRVIA is the only national certification association for RV Inspectors, trained and certified specifically in inspection of Recreational Vehicles.
Compare the dealership 100 point PDI with no report offered to an unbiased, professional NRVIA Premier up to 500 point Inspection with detailed analysis of all systems and components in a report including 80-100 photos for often times less than the dealership charge. Contact Mobiltek today for your RV Inspection needs.

This inspection covers the primary points of the Premier and is less detailed than the
NRVIA inspections and includes a checklist of up to 200 points of inmspection and inspection notes and about 20 photos.
The checklist offers an overview of components and systems and inspects two primary points.
1) Is it present?
2) Does it work ?
The Premier level is a much deeper, detailed dive into each component.
EXAMPLE:
A checklist inspection will inspect whether a generator is present and whether it starts and runs and provides voltage to the rig.
A Premier will do this as well but also check oil level and quality, the quality of the electricity produced, (electricity that does not produce consistent wave frequency of 60Hz can harm appliances) hoses, coolant levels, radiator, hours of work, date of manufacture, data plate information, overall condition of the generator and more.
THIS IS NOT AN NRVIA INSPECTION
This inspection is for private sellers. Have your rig professionally inspected for important condition points and life safety issues and get a report that details overall condition. Have Mobiltek repair any issues and get those repairs noted on the report and give your buyer more confidence in you and your rig and get a better, more accurate and informed price point and prevent unhappy customers and potential liability after the sale.
THIS IS A TECHNICIAN INSPECTION AND NOT AN NRVIA INSPECTION.
This inspection inspects all life safety and operational components and performs routine seasonal maintenance on Air Conditioners, Furnaces, Water Heaters, Plumbing Systems, Slideouts and Leveling Systems. If repair is required this would be communicated to the owner and Mobiltek would be available to perform the repair under a separate contract.
It generally takes 4-5 hours
THIS IS A TECHNICIAN INSPECTION AND NOT AN NRVIA INSPECTION.
This inspection will detail only the viability of your life safety items. It will have a pass or fail on each inspection point.
A basic report will be emailed to the customer, which doesn’t include photos. This inspection takes 2 to 3 hours.
THIS IS A TECHNICIAN INSPECTION AND NOT AN NRVIA INSPECTION.

ADD ON A FLUID ANALYIS OF YOUR MOTORHOME
Have you ever considered the cost of having to repair, or worse yet, replace an RV or Tow Vehicle engine or transmission? These are incredibly expensive components that you depend on, day in and day out, to safely and efficiently move your RV down the road. Either of these components would require thousands of dollars to repair or replace plus you’d have to deal with weeks of “out of service” time due to manufacturer, dealer and/or service center delays. Perhaps not quite as expensive, generator problems could also become a major issue.
Like a “blood test” for your RV or Tow Vehicle, adding fluid analysis to your inspection helps ensure that you don’t end up inheriting someone else’s engine, transmission or generator problems. Potential problems, like internal part wear or excessive contamination, cannot be detected by non-certified inspectors who simply pull dipsticks and check fluid levels. Fluid analysis reports, from MOBILTEK RV SERVICES will show you the true condition inside the components (engine, transmission, generator and cooling system) on the RV you may be considering for purchase. ISO Certfied laboratory testing shows if the fluids are still good or if they are either worn out or contaminated. Just as in home inspections, if costly repairs or maintenance is required, those costs can be negotiated as part of the deal. Why take chances on these complex and ultra expensive systems when fluid analysis can reveal so much? Fluid analysis is the only way to “look inside” RV or Tow Vehicle engines, transmissions and generators. If your reports show critical test results, it’s probably time to “keep looking”
